Congresswoman Kelly To Join Mayor Alsberry In Hazel Crest On Saturday

Congresswoman Robin Kelly Will Be Special Guest At Monthly “Coffee With The Mayor”

HAZEL CREST — Hazel Crest Village President Vernard Alsberry Jr. has invited 2nd District U.S. Representative Robin Kelly to speak with Hazel Crest residents as a special guest at the Mayor’s informal monthly get together of concerned community members.

“I was very pleased that Congresswoman Kelly could attend and meet with our residents to give us an update on what is happening in Congress that specifically affects the residents of Hazel Crest and the south suburbs. I am sure we will also have many questions about the partisan battles that will erupt in Congress over the next year in the shadow of a presidential election,” said Alsberry. “Robin Kelly has been very supportive of our community and we look forward to hearing her point of view on both the current issues of the day and infrastructure project progress in south Cook County.”

Coffee With The Mayor will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 in the Gymnasium at the Hazel Crest Village Hall located at 3000 W. 170th Place from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM.
