Pit Bull Stolen from South Suburban Humane Society
The dog was taken by three people Wednesday evening, staff said on the shelter's Facebook page.

Staff at South Suburban Humane Society in Chicago Heights are asking area residents to be on the lookout for a pit bull mix that was stolen from the shelter Wednesday night.
Two white males, age 19–20, and a white female with brown hair and a blonde streak took ”Cheeser” and fled in a black, late-model Monte Carlo, according to the shelter’s Facebook page. The act was caught on surveillance video, and a police report has been filed.
Cheeser is 10 months old, tan with a white chest, and estimated at 56 pounds. His microchip has been flagged as stolen. If you have any information, please email emily@southsuburbanhumane.org.
