The H-F children's play production of "Honus and Me" has been selected to perform at the 2011 Illinois High School Theatre Festival at the University of Illinois. Only 18 productions in the state were selected to perform.
The lead character is portrayed by freshman C. J. Butler. Eric Johnson plays the role of Honus. Other primary roles are played by Courtney Green, Allison Greenwood, Jonathan Schaffer, Gregory Madden, Khari Shelton, Kanoa Mulling, Alejandro Treccani and Christopher Kelley. There also is a large ensemble of cast members and technical crew members.
