
South Holland, IL (January 9, 2012) – Catholic Men Chicago Southland (CMCS), Young Adult Ministry Chicago, and Archdiocese of Chicago Office for Black Catholic’s will sponsor the first for 2012 Bishop Perry Father and Son Conference entitled, “Keep your hand to the plow” ~ The powerful role of the Father, on Saturday, February 4, 2012, at Seton Academy High School, 16100 Seton Drive • South Holland, IL 60473. Most Reverend Joseph N. Perry, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Chicago, will deliver a reflection at the morning conference, which begins at 9 a.m. with a Color Guard presentation by the Knights of Columbus and prayer.
Father Andrew Smith, Associate Pastor at Saint Ailbe Church, Chicago, was Ordained in 2009, who became a Chicago Police officer in 1991, a job he held for 10 years when he decided to become a Catholic Priest, will deliver the keynote address, “Keep your hand to the plow” ~
The powerful role of the Father.
Master of Cerimonies will be Peter Palanca who is executive vice president and chief operating
officer of Treatment Alternatives for Safe Communities (TASC, Inc.).
