The Littleton, Colo.-based Rachel's Challenge is the organization created by the family of Rachel Scott — the first student killed at Columbine High School on April 20, 1999 — that strives to inspire, equip and empower people to create a permanent culture change in schools, businesses and communities by starting a chain reaction of kindness and compassion, according to the organization's website.
The presentation will focus on Columbine, Rachel's life and the five goals of Rachel's Challenge. They are to eliminate prejudice, to dare to dream, to choose your influences, to use kind words and to start a chain reaction of kindness.
