Under the direction of Dr. Michael Rogers, the symphony will perform Wagner's overture to Die Meistersinger,Alfred Reed's arrangement of Greensleeves, and three Jazz favorites by Dave Brubeck, an American Jazz pianist, arranged by Chuck Sayre. The strings group will play Suite of Carols by Leroy Anderson, an American composer of short, light concert pieces. Carols include Pastores a Belen, It Came Upon a Midnight Clear and Wassail Song.
