Homewood-Flossmoor Park District announces AARP Driver’s Safety Program for adults ages 55 and older.
Participants will learn driving safety skills and receive practical tips for safer travel in an atmosphere that provides social interaction amongst their peers. Eight hours of class work on two consecutive days may make participants eligible for a reduced auto insurance rate.
The next session meets Wednesday, April 6, and Thursday, April 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Irwin Community Center, 18120 Highland Ave., Homewood. Fee is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members. Payment is due to the instructor the morning of the first class.
