The Poetry Foundation and the National Endowment of the Arts announce the Poetry Out Loud National Recitation Contest, a program that encourages students to learn about poetry through memorization, performance and competition. Poetry Out Loud seeks to foster the next generation of literary readers by capitalizing on the newest trends in poetry: recitation and performance! H-F's school-wide competition is set for Wednesday, Jan. 25, at 3:15 p.m. in South E1. This free event is open to all.
