Hart of the Tale Storytelling Festival

Student storytellers from James Hart and Millennium Schools will take the stage in a day-long celebration of verbal storytelling at the school district’s biennial “Hart of the Tale” Storytelling Festival.

Special guest teller, Andy Offutt Irwin will also perform throughout the day.  Irwin, a professional storyteller and humorist from Covington, Georgia, has released several albums which feature, stories, songs or whistling.  Irwin has received three Storytelling World awards and two Storytelling Album of the Year awards.

The Festival will take place Saturday, April 14, 1:00-10:00 p.m., at James Hart and Millennium Schools (enter via the HF Sports Complex), 18211 Aberdeen Street, Homewood.  This family-friendly event is open to the public.  A one-time $5 admission allows you to come and go all day long.
