Illinois Voter Registration Day

The Homewood-Flossmoor Area League of Women Voters will be registering people to vote at Walt's Food Store in Homewood on Saturday, Sept. 29.  If you will be 18 years of age by Nov. 6, stop by Walt's this day.  When registering to vote, you must present 2 pieces of identification.  Neither needs to be a photo ID, but one must include your current address.  Acceptable forms of ID include:  Illinois driver's license, Illinois state ID, employee or student ID, credit card, social security card, birth certificate, utility bill in applicant's name, mail postmarked to the applicant, valid U.S. passport, lease or rental contract.
