The world may tune in to New York at midnight, but Homewood holds its own countdown and balloon drop at the stroke of noon. The event is planned so that the entire family can bid farewell to the departing year and usher in the new together. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. This year enjoy a performance by the Barefoot Hawaiians.
