Volunteers are needed to help with the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Homewood Flossmoor for 2011. Anyone interested in learning more is encouraged to attend the planning meeting on Tuesday, February 15, 6:00 pm at Flossmoor Library, 1000 Sterling Ave, Flossmoor.
Individuals are needed to help in areas such as logistics, entertainment, organizing and recruiting teams, securing community support, food and prizes, and publicity. Experience is helpful, but not required.
Relay For Life is an overnight event that brings the community together to celebrate, remember, and fight back against cancer. Relay For Life of Homewood Flossmoor will be held from 4:00 pm on Saturday, June 11 to 6:00 am on Sunday, June 12 at Homewood Flossmoor High School, 999 Kedzie Ave, in Flossmoor.
