Shoulder pain may be caused by one of several common conditions. Find out what they are and how they can be treated at a free educational seminar, “The Diagnosis and Treatment of Shoulder Pain,” to be held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15, at the Ingalls Family Care Center in Flossmoor. The seminar will be presented by Carl DiLella, D.O., an orthopedic surgeon on staff at Ingalls Advanced Orthopedic Institute who has special expertise in advanced shoulder arthroscopy, rotator cuff repair and labral repair.
The free seminar will provide an overview of the following:
- Anatomy of the shoulder
- Common causes of shoulder pain
- Arthroscopic rotator cuff repair
- New advances in shoulder replacement surgery
