Family Christian Center is a church that "reaches the lost at any cost". It is located in Munster, Indiana at 340 W. 45th. The church has helped the Northwest Indiana/ Chicago land community for 50 years. Senior Pastors Steve and Melodye Munsey are "committed to showing God's love to a hurting world". Their son Pastor Kent Munsey and his wife Ali Munsey have expanded the church by operating multiple campuses called Chicago's City Church. Their service is very unique. It is multicultural. The rich and poor attend. The old, young, single, and married attend. They operate youth programs from the nursery stage all the way through Sr. High School. The service times are: Saturday 5:30 p.m. Sunday 8:30 p.m. Sunday 10:30 p.m. and Sunday 12:30 p.m. The Mid-Week Bible Study Service operates on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Family Christian Center shows its commitment to the community by offering several ministries. Operation Care has donated over 5 million tons of food to local families in need. There is a hospital ministry that helps over 23 hospitals with chaplains. FCC's prison ministry assists 5 prisons in the Northwest Indiana/ Chicago land area. FCC provides monies and spiritual growth to over 10 countries. They support abandoned orphans. They also support other churches and missionaries around the world. They offer free classes by qualified people in a variety of subjects. In addition, if you are interested in becoming a minister you can attend FCC's Cross College. Other ministries include Steve Munsey Ministries, Student Ministries, Performing Arts, Worship Arts, Operation Care, Christian Education, Media and Technology, Pastoral Care, World Missions, Spanish Ministry, Facilities, Refuge Productions, Hosts and Administration, and the Job Connection.

Family Christian Center schedule of events are: November-Thanksgiving with Jesus. December-Scrooge the Musical, Christmas Candlelight, and a New Year's Eve Celebration.

Lately there has been newspaper reporting that the church is going in foreclosure. It is rumored that the church has serious debt. This organization needs the communities support now. Family Christian Center has a congregation of over 30,000 people. Most of these people are in need of help. It would be devastating if Family Christian Center had to close its doors. People would be lost. Other churches and their congregation's worldwide would suffer. Abandoned orphans would suffer. People would die. People should rally in behalf of Family Christian Center! Doors closed shouldn't be the cost of reaching the lost!
