Flossmoor Launches Community Survey For Police Chief Recruitment
The Village is seeking community input as officials recruit for its next police chief.
FLOSSMOOR, IL — Flossmoor officials are actively recruiting for the position of police chief and are seeking community input. The recruitment effort follows the retirement of Chief Kamleiter, who served the Village for 26 years. In order to identify the candidate that best fits the needs of Flossmoor, the Village partnered with the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police to create a community stakeholder questionnaire.
The 10-question survey is available to every community stakeholder in Flossmoor, including residents, business owners, school representatives, Village employees, neighborhood associations and community groups. The questionnaire will provide valuable feedback as the Village works to find Flossmoor’s next chief of police.
The survey will close at 5 p.m. on November 21. Residents are encouraged to complete the community stakeholder questionnaire today.
