Flossmoor Police, FBI Hunt Home Invasion Suspect

Flossmoor police have teamed up with the FBI and prison officials to track down the suspect in a home invasion and sexual assault.

The man—described as a black male between 30 and 35 years old, 5-foot-10 to 6-feet tall and of medium build—reportedly broke into a home in the 1200 block of Douglas by slicing through a window screen.

Inside the home, the suspect went into the victim’s bedroom wielding what appeared to be a kitchen knife, and sexually assaulted her. The man then demanded money and fled the scene. It’s believed he could be an ex-convict.
