Flossmoor Police Investigate Parker Junior High Fight Posted on Instagram

Flossmoor Police are investigating a fight at Parker Junior High School that sent one child to a hospital. The fight took place Wednesday after school, near the school buses, and a student posted a video to Instagram.

Police Chief Mike Pulec told the Chicago Tribune the boys ran when school officials approached but one was found near the school and the school nurse advised that he be taken to a hospital for examination. A parent informed police. While schoolyard fistfights are not uncommon, Pulec told the Tribune police are investigating because the fight required a hospital visit and police need to determine whether one child may have been an innocent victim.
