In an effort to fulfill its mission to improve the overall health and wellness of Chicago Southland residents, Franciscan Health is launching a free OB/Gyn lecture series to further educate the community about vital women and children health topics.

The first installment of the Baby Talks OB/Gyn Lecture Series is entitled “The Magic of Breast Milk.” It will be presented at the Franciscan Health Olympia Fields auditorium on Thursday, August 1, at 6:00 p.m., by Nicole Robbins, BS, CLS, the Education and Outreach Specialist for the Mother’s Milk Bank of Western Great Lakes. This lecture coincides with the beginning of World Breastfeeding Week 2019, which highlights the benefits that breastfeeding brings to the health and welfare of babies, as well as focusing on maternal health, good nutrition, poverty reduction and food security.
