Franciscan St. James Heart Health Open House: Oct. 23
Nationally Recognized Cardiologist and Author, Dr. John M. Kennedy to Headline Franciscan St. James Heart Health Open House

Franciscan St. James Health is hosting its Heart Health Open House at its Heart and Vascular Institute in Olympia Fields on Thursday, October 23, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:40 p.m.
Headlining the event will be cardiologist and author, John M. Kennedy, MD, who is among the nation’s most respected experts on stress and how it adversely affects the cardiovascular system. Dr. Kennedy’s presentation, “Follow Your Heart: The 5-Step Plan to Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease,” will begin at 7:15 p.m.
The author of two books, Dr. Kennedy is the Director of Preventive Cardiology and Wellness at Marina Del Rey Hospital in California, and is on the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association.

The Heart Health Open House is free to the public, and includes walking tours of its Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit, Cardiac Cath Lab and Noninvasive Cardiology Unity.

Franciscan St. James will also offer free blood pressure, cholesterol and blood glucose screenings.
