Franciscan St. James needs volunteers at both campuses

By sharing their knowledge and time, Franciscan St. James volunteers age 16 to 90 fill many key roles throughout the hospital

Franciscan St. James Health is currently seeking volunteers to provide invaluable assistance and support at the hospital’s Chicago Heights and Olympia Fields campuses.

“Not-for-profit organizations, such as Franciscan St. James, are absolutely dependent on volunteers to fill many vital roles,” said Karen Yates, Franciscan St. James Director of Mission and Volunteer Services.

There are three classifications of Volunteer positions at Franciscan St. James. Within those three classifications are various assignments within the two hospitals.

“At Franciscan St. James, our volunteers range in age from 16 to 90,” Yates said. “They do so many things for our patients and our staff that we would be lost without them.”
