Glenwood Academy Raises More than $1M at 68th Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon
South suburban human services agency raises more than $1M at fundraising event
Nearly 600 guests joined Glenwood Academy students and staff on Nov. 16 for its 68th Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile. The South Suburban human services agency raised more than $ 1 million for the children and families served. Luncheon proceeds will benefit the Glenwood’s unique programming which includes an unparalleled academic curriculum in a residential environment, on campus clinical services including health and counseling, military leadership program and unique summer enrichment program.
The 68th Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon was presented by ACCO Brands, CDW Corporation, Robyn & Patrick Flinn, Keurig Green Mountain, Northern Trust Corporation, and Kim & Norm Wesley.
S. Biff Bowman, Executive Vice President & CFO of Northern Trust Bank served as the luncheon’s chairman. The Host Committee also included Matt Darnall, Managing Director, Goldman Sachs; Boris Elisman, President & CEO, Acco Brands; Stephanie Hickman, President, Trice Construction Company; Norm Wesley, Retired Chairman & CEO, Fortune Brands; and Mark Wight, Chairman & CEO, Wight Company.
