Good
Shepherd Center will host the 6th Annual Charity Golf Outing at
Ravisloe Country Club in Homewood on Friday, June 13 that will support programs for children
with developmental disabilities and their families.
The
driving range opens at 8:00 am with a shotgun start at 9:00 am. Players have a
choice to play their own ball or scramble. Golfers will also enjoy competing in
a variety of contests such as the closest to the pin and longest 2nd
shot.
Comedian Jimmy McHugh will be the entertainment during the buffet reception and lead the live auction. McHugh has been dishing out his style of comedy for over 30 years. Born and raised on the Northwest side of Chicago, Jimmy blends a mixture of classic observational humor emphasized with his unique vocal and facial expressions. He appears at various national comedy clubs and has also been seen on Comedy Central, HBO, MTV, ESPN2 and the Oprah Winfrey Show.
Foursomes may enter at a discounted cost of $700 that
includes a hole sponsorship. Individuals
may register at a cost of $150. Sponsorship packages are also available to
secure your opportunity to play.

Proceeds
of the event will ensure local children receive proper early education
intervention and local families with a child diagnosed with a developmental
disability will receive respite care.
Good Shepherd Center for Exceptional Children is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit and was founded in 1963 as a school for children with disabilities and their families.
