H-F Park District Joins SSPRPA to Help Coal City Kids
H-F Parks, SSPRPA and other area park districts to provide some quality recreation time for the kids affected by the Coal City tornado.

H-F Park District recreation supervisors Joe DeCicco and Kaitlyn Studer joined the SSPRPA (South Suburban Park & Recreation Professional Association) and other area park districts to provide some quality recreation time for the kids affected by the Coal City area tornado. Coal City, a town of about 6,000 people, doesn’t have a park district or recreation department, so the park districts worked together to give them a day of summer fun.
