GLENWOOD, IL — A family searching for its beloved parrot, missing since May 28, believes he was spotted Sunday near Longwood Elementary School.
"Pirate" escaped his home in Glenwood Estates just West of Halsted Street. He is an Eclectus parrot who requires medication every three weeks for an overly fast growing lower beak. He is friendly and may land on your shoulder, wrote owner Michelle Ressell on social media.
"He's been a part of our family for 20 years, and we miss him!" Ressell wrote.
