HF Park District Site Director

The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District seeks motivated, creative, and experienced Directors for the district’s 2014-15 after school care program AM Club and Extra Innings. The Director must possess 2+ years of experience working with school-aged children and is responsible for planning and implementing daily activities for a group of 20-40 school-aged children. Programs also run all day on school days off, excluding major holidays. Possible daily activities include arts and crafts, athletic games, cooking, science experiments and other school-aged enrichment activities. The Director is also responsible for leading and directing Recreation Supervisors and communicating with the school staff, Recreation Supervisor and parents on a regular basis. Ideal candidates should possess a degree in Education, Recreation or related field.

Extra Innings Director Hours:3:00-6:00pm, M-F, additional planning hours each week along with monthly meetings and longer hours availble on some days off school.

AM Club Site Director Hours: 6:30-8:15am, M-F, additional planning hours each week along with monthly meetings and longer hours availble on some days off school.
