Hillcrest HS Boys' Bowling Team Off to a Great Start
The team does well in their first tournament

The Hillcrest Hawks Varsity Boys’ Bowling Team competed in their first tournament at the Arena Lanes in Oak Lawn. The team of Japhe Jelks, Jarrett Kenebrew-Campbell, TJ Peebles, Marvin Slaughter and Xavier Muhammad were able to average a 186 over the six games of competition. The standout Hawk bowler was senior Xavier Muhammad, with a career best and Hillcrest record 1,437 total pins! “That’s nearly a 240 average over the six games! I’m very proud of the team! This is the first of what we hope is many accomplishments for the varsity team this year!” said bowling coach Rob Fantozzi. Congratulations Boys!
