Hillcrest HS GSA Mixes It Up at Movie Night

The Hillcrest High School Gay-Straight Alliance attended the district-wide movie night mixer at Bremen High School. Students enjoyed delicious snacks, an opportunity to meet students from across the district and take in a blockbuster film. GSA members from across the district are involved in the club to prevent bullying and provide advocacy for students associating from various backgrounds. Senior Kala Stewart attended the evening and explained, “This was a fun experience for me. I met a lot of new people and I felt a great deal of positive energy which is something I hope I’ll never forget.”
