Hillcrest High School’s Gay-Straight Alliance attended the annual district-wide GSA Holiday Mixer held at Oak Forest High School. Students participated in ice breaker and team-building events, thereby forging new friendships and bringing forth greater understandings of individuals and their backgrounds. Pizza and treats were served and an evening of learning and fun was had by all! New friends were made and the outreach efforts by the groups’ members will continue to serve our schools and communities well.
