'Cell Phones for Soldiers' provides cost-free communication for active military members

Hillcrest High School Key Club had the pleasure of delivering over 100 cell phones for soldiers. “Cell Phones for Soldiers” is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing cost-free communication services to active-duty military members and veterans. Since 2004 the organization has provided more than 210 million minutes of free talk time. Key Club is an international student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership. ”The generosity of students and staff was overwhelming and the Key Club members were thrilled to be able to help our Military in this way,” said Hillcrest teacher Ms. Amy Trench.
