Hillcrest HS's Academic Learning Center Celebrates Student Achievement

The Hillcrest Academic Learning Center was implemented for the 2014/ 2015 school year as another resource to assist students to achieve success in all academic courses. “This being our first cycle of this program, the results of our efforts and collaboration are very encouraging. Our students are receiving a plethora of supports from our schools’ Response To Intervention programs,” said Assistant Principal Terrence Simmons. The success of this program is due to the collaboration of staff and students. “We appreciate all of the support and efforts to ensure our students succeed,” said Simmons. The student’s celebrated their accomplishments with a much deserved pizza party.
