Hillcrest High School is proud to announce that Taylor Adway has signed his Letter of Intent to attend Toledo University. The 6’8” senior averaged 15 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocked shots last season. Taylor is not only a great athlete, he is also a leader around the school. He is a member of the Student Athlete Leadership Team, is a HOPE (Hawks Offering Positive Encouragement) leader, and has a 4.3 GPA. Taylor is the second Hawk to play for Toledo University, which is a member of the MAAC conference. Former Hillcrest Hawk, Julius Brown, is a senior at Toledo.
Toledo coach Tod Kowalczyk states, “Taylor is a long, athletic, skilled “4” man who I think has a tremendous amount of potential. He’s a guy that’s multi-dimensional. He can step out and shoot, play off the dribble and score with his back to the basket.”
