Hillcrest High School’s Cameron Williams is just a freshman, but has already left a mark on the Hillcrest community. Cameron plays violin for the South Suburban Symphony Orchestra, maintains academic honors courses, loves to draw, write, and is a district athlete. Williams is one of three students that travels to Tinley Park High school to participate on the Swim Team. Once the swimming season is over, she plans to join the Hillcrest Marching Band to continue her involvement in school activities.
“Cameron is focused, confident and well prepared academically. She takes pride in all of her accomplishments,” said Ms. Kara Bucci, William’s math teacher. Cameron is commended for her exemplary academic efforts, as well as her extracurricular work. “She is a pleasure to have in class,” said Bucci.
