Home Invasion, Kidnapping Charges Against Man In Homewood Case
Police have charged the 19-year-old man accused of kidnapping his girlfriend from a home on Dolphin Lake Drive in Homewood.

HOMEWOOD, IL – Police have identified the man accused of kidnapping his girlfriend from a home in Homewood earlier this week. Curtis Berg, 19, of Phoenix, Illinois faces charges of home invasion, aggravated kidnapping and armed robbery in connection with Wednesday's incident in the 18200 block of Dolphin Lake Drive.
Homewood police say it was Berg who forcibly entered the front door of the home around 12:30 p.m. that day and displayed a weapon while forcing the 19-year-old victim, his girlfriend, to leave with him.
Two cell phones were taken from the home during the home invasion, which police say accounts for the armed robbery charge Berg faces.
