Homewood-Flossmoor 2017 Sex Offender Safety Map

HOMEWOOD-FLOSSMOOR, IL — Before kids go out trick or treating on Halloween, fall is a good time to take inventory of who is living in your neighborhood. Homewood has none registered sex offenders listed on the Illinois Sex Offender Registry, seven of whom are classified as sexual predators. Flossmoor has three registered sex offenders on the registry, all of whom are listed as sexual predators.

In Flossmoor, one offender identified as Kelly McDonald had an address listed that does not exist in Flossmoor. In Homewood, offenders Ralph Gilmore and Edward Brown are currently listed as having unknown locations and offender Gregory Sandifer is listed as being incarcerated in the Illinois Department of Corrections.

Registered sex offenders are prohibited from passing out candy on Halloween. They may not appear in a Halloween costume or other child-centered holiday character, such as Santa or the Easter Bunny, in public. Registered sex offenders, however, may wear a Halloween costume in their home, according to the Illinois Sex Offender Registry.
