Colleen Gleason from the Cook County Clerk’s office was the featured speaker at a recent program meeting of the Homewood Flossmoor Area League of Women Voters at the Homewood Public Library attended by about fifty members and guests. Ms. Gleason explained changes that have taken place in the election laws in the past few months and discussed the constitutional amendments and advisory referenda to be found on the November 4th ballot.
Handouts with information about the Election Day registration locations and as well as the early voting locations were provided by Ms. Gleason. For additional information about polling places and registration sites, it was suggested that people log on to the Cook County Clerk’s website (cookcountyclerk.com) For information about judges, the audience was advised to go to this website: www.voteforjudges.org.
