Homewood-Flossmoor High School Plans All-Remote Learning To Start School Year

At a special meeting of the District 233 Board of Education, held Tuesday, July 21, it was decided that Homewood-Flossmoor Community High School would begin the 2020-21 school year in a remote-learning format. This difficult decision was made with the health and safety of H-F's students, teachers, staff and community members as the top concern, paired with a necessity to maintain H-F's high academic expectations.
Remote learning this fall will look different from remote learning this past spring. H-F staff has planned webinars for our parents/guardians and students to help them prepare for the start of the school year:

H-F PARENT/GUARDIAN WEBINARS (A Zoom link will be sent to the parent/guardian's email address.)
• Tuesday, July 28 @ 7 p.m. — Grades 10-12

• Wednesday, July 29 @ 7 p.m. — Grade 9
H-F STUDENT WEBINARS (A Zoom link will be sent to the student's H-F gmail account, which they will received during Chromebook distribution the week of Aug. 3.)
• Monday, Aug. 10 @ 7 p.m. — Grade 11
• Tuesday, Aug. 11 @ 7 p.m. — Grade 10
• Wednesday, Aug. 12 @ 7 p.m. — Grade 9
• Thursday, Aug. 13 @ 7 p.m. — Grade 12
