Homewood Indoor Farmers Market Returns This Month
The indoor market at the Irwin Park Community Center will be on the final Saturday of every month until April.

HOMEWOOD, IL — The Homewood Indoor Farmers Market returns for its sixth year at the Irwin Park Community Center, 18120 Highland Ave. in 2020. The first market of the year will be on Saturday, Jan. 25 from 8 a.m. until noon. It will return on the final Saturday of every month until the end of April at the same time and place.
The farmers market offers prepared foods including sauces, baked goods and jams, as well as seasonal produce when available and unique artisan offerings, according to a news release from the village of Homewood.

Opening day Jan. 25 will feature a Homewood Science Center Pop-Up Shop with unique STEM items. Patrons can also pick up reusable farmers market shopping bags and 2020 events calendar magnets. Music that morning will be provided by Tom Furlan, MG Bailey and The One Man Band.

Kids events are also planned for all four days of the indoor market. The opener will feature a Valentine’s Day scratch-off ornament, with take home s’mores kits on Feb. 25, spring craft on March 28 and Mother’s Day craft on April 25.
Food options will include Elite Sweets, EmpanadUS, Nola’s Kitchen, Sonoma Farms, and Tiddleywink Toffee, among others.
