Homewood Police Investigating Death of 4-month-old Girl

Homewood police are investigating the death of a 4-month-old girl found in an apartment Thursday.

Jacinta Hughes was pronounced dead at the scene in the 18200 block of Hart Drive Thursday at 9:19 a.m. The cause of death was undetermined Thursday.

An autopsy was scheduled for Friday.

One woman told Sun-Times Media reporters that she saw a man being led away from the scene, but that he was not handcuffed.
