Homewood Pop-Up Shops Open for Business Oct. 16

They’re back!

On Oct. 16, 32 Holiday Pop-Up Shops will activate four spots, running through Dec. 20 to round out residents’ in-town shopping experience.

Pop-up shops were first introduced during the holiday season of 2013. The Village received recognition from the region for its creative approach to filling gaps in its shopping district and motivating consumers to shop local. Pop-Up Shops do not replace Homewood’s vibrant and faithful brick-and-mortars, who offer new items year-round, the village said in a release.

The shops are designed to create new interest and energy within the district and increased foot traffic in an effort to benefit existing businesses and drive local consumers to shop local.

“What we love about the Pop-Up Shops is the positive energy it brings to Homewood, the assortment of pieces, the quality of the items, but most of all the sense of community it brings out,” said Anna Devries, PR/Marketing Coordinator.

POP-UP SHOP HOURS OF OPERATION

All Pop-Ups have the same dates and hours; select Pop-Ups will be open Christmas week for special holiday promotions.

October 16–December 20

• Thursday & Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
