Homewood resident Bob Defoe donates blood March 25 at the LifeSource-sponsored Chicago Wolves’ Blood Drive held at Allstate Arena. As his reward for making the drive to suburban Rosemont to donate blood, Defoe was given a tour of the Wolves’ team locker room and its facilities. There, he was personally greeted by Chicago Wolves’ president Mike Gordon (back row, left), as well as by 1985 Chicago Bears’ offensive lineman Jim Covert, who also serves as president of LifeSource parent company ITxM.
