How Should Robin Kelly Vote on Syria Attack?
She's undecided. Share your opinion in our 2nd District Syria poll.

President Barack Obama this weekend said he will let Congress decide whether to attack Syria after an alleged chemical weapons attack by Syrian President Bashar Assad that is reported to have killed more than 1,400 people and violated international rules of war.
As Americans are "weary of war," the president said in his Saturday address to the public that putting the decision in the hands of the people's representatives was more in line with the country's democratic ideals.
"I know that the country will be stronger if we take this course, and our actions will be even more effective," he said.
U.S. Rep. Robin Kelly (D-2nd) is undecided. Her constituents took to Kelly's Facebook page in recent days to let her know what they think.
Kathleen Klok, of Flossmoor: "I am totally against any kind of intervention in Syria. I am truly sorry for the deaths, but we are not the world's police force. We need to turn our attention to and spend our money in the U.S. to fix our infrastructure, keep (Social Security) and Medicare intact, bring jobs back from China. Stay out."
Suzi Pollak, of Chicago Heights: "I am opposed to bombing Syria. We as a nation, and inhabitants of this planet, can not afford to start another war. Please vote no on military action in Syria."
How do you think your congressman, Robin Kelly, should vote? Do you believe any action will draw the U.S. into another Mideast conflict? Vote in the poll and share your views in the comments.
