Overturned Truck Causes Closure of Tri-State Tollway Near Halsted
An overturned semitruck has caused the closure of four southbound lanes during the late Wednesday morning rush hour.
CALUMET CITY, IL - All southbound lanes of I-94/294 are blocked near Halsted Street due to an overturned semi truck as of 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
WGN-TV Traffic shows drive times in the area, with a block of red dotted near the accident site.
Other reports indicate it was a rollover accident that occurred between Halsted and the Dixie Highway exit.

WGN Twitter followers have shared some photos from the scene. It appears that at least two trucks are involved with smoke highly visible in the area.
