IJP National Geographic Bee is Out of this World!
Infant Jesus of Prague students compete in National Geographic Bee
Infant Jesus of Prague School hosted the 2015 National Geographic Bee, along with thousands of schools around the United States. The IJP Geographic Bee was the first round in the 27th annual National Geographic Bee. Students in 4th grade through 8th grade competed in a preliminary contest in their classrooms, to determine the two finalists from each grade. The 10 finalists then competed in an exciting Geographic Bee, answering questions about US and World Geography in front of the school audience. Contestants were eliminated when they answered two questions incorrectly. After many rounds, seventh grader Kayla Moore became the 2015 champion at IJP School! Kayla will take a written test in hopes to qualify for the Illinois State Bee on March 27, 2015. Congratulations to all the IJP finalists, and good luck to Kayla Moore!
