Indiana Man Charged In Glenwood Fatal Shooting

The shooting took place August 22 and was a targeted incident, police said.

GLENWOOD, IL — A 35-year-old Indiana man has been charged in a fatal shooting that happened last week in Glenwood, according to police.

The shooting took place just before 8 p.m. August 22, in the vicinity of Center Street and Willow in Glenwood. A man in his mid-20s was killed in the incident, police said. He has not been identified.

Police determined it was a targeted incident, and that no one was at risk. On August 28, Glenwood Police and the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force charged Isaiah Collier, of Indiana, with 1st degree murder, police said Monday.
