Infant Jesus of Prague 5th Graders Visit Flossmoor Library
IJP Students Enhance Research Skills

The 5th Graders from Infant Jesus of Prague School took a walking field trip to the Flossmoor Public Library to begin their research for a Science Biome project. The Flossmoor Library staff was very organized and helpful during the visit. The students were given a tour of the library and learned how to use the search functions for the Swan Library System and World Book References. They also checked out library books to use for their research. At the completion of their Biome project, the 5th Graders will create glogsters to make digital presentations. The trip to the library helped the students enhance their research skills and learn how to utilize the library as a valuable resource. Infant Jesus of Prague is lucky to have such a great library just blocks from the school!
