Infant Jesus of Prague School attends Leadership Mass

IJP 8th Graders celebrate Leadership Mass

The 8th Graders from Infant Jesus of Prague School (Flossmoor, IL) participated in a Vicariate Leadership Mass at Christ our Savior Church in South Holland, IL on Monday, September 8.

The theme of the Mass focused on leadership and stressed the importance of recognizing and achieving their leadership potential. Students were told that as leaders, they must display a positive attitude and use their gifts and talents for the service of others.

Each school attending the Mass created a special Leadership Banner that was on display in church and at the luncheon following the Mass. Noelle Bryant, an 8th grader from IJP, carried the banner in the procession, and Summer Kerksick and Jacob Klupchak, also IJP 8th graders, read the opening comments.

As 8th graders in a Catholic school, these students have a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate their leadership skills and be positive role models for the Kindergartners through 7th graders at Infant Jesus of Prague School.
