Infant Jesus of Prague Students Feed the Homeless

16 + 1 = An Amazing Kitchen Crew!

Mr. Kevin Gallagher, a junior high math teacher at Infant Jesus of Prague School, teaches more than just math! He motivated his 8th grade students to donate their time to help others in need. Mr. Gallagher and sixteen of his students were happy to help create a meal for the homeless guests at the IJP PADS Shelter. They worked together to prepare a delicious meal of meatloaf, salad, macaroni and cheese, corn, and bread. The guests enjoyed their special dinner, and the 8th Grade chefs learned that serving others is fun and rewarding. In fact, they might be back in March for a repeat performance!

Infant Jesus of Prague School emphasizes the importance of service to others, and we are proud of our students and faculty for living out their faith through thoughtful service projects.
