Infant Jesus of Prague Students Study Agriculture
From Farm to Table, and everything in-between!

Mrs. Johnson’s fourth graders at Infant Jesus of Prague School participated in a special program to learn all about agriculture: where their food, fuel, and fiber come from, renewable and non-renewable resources, agricultural careers, and nutritional values. They learned the science behind ”Farm to Table”, and studied the processes that occur along the way. The students learned how Illinois agricultural products are used around the world. And finally, they reviewed the USDA My Plate, which provides a healthy nutritional plan for the students to follow. Great lesson!
