Infant Jesus of Prague Students Study Properties of Water

There's much to know about H2O!

Mrs. Mosher’s 8th grade Science classes began their comprehensive study of the Properties of Water with an experiment in the Science Lab. Their assignment was to find out how many drops of water can fit on a penny, and explain their results in terms of cohesion and surface tension. After completing their trials, the students completed a Lab Write-Up which included a creative title, scientific question, hypothesis, data chart, bar graph, results and conclusion.

Science is a very important component of the school curriculum, and IJP is committed to fully prepare our students for high school and beyond. For more information, please contact Infant Jesus of Prague School at (708)799-5200 or visit our website at www.ijpschool.org.
