Infant Jesus of Prague Students Visit the Flossmoor Fire Department

Kindergarteners are fired up from their awesome field trip!

The Kindergarten class from Infant Jesus of Prague School took a walking field trip to the Flossmoor Fire Department on Tuesday, October 7. The students took a tour of the facility, learned all about fire safety and found out what it’s like to be a firefighter. The students loved going on the rescue fire truck, getting a behind-the-scenes tour of the fire station’s kitchen and sleeping bunks, and meeting firefighters in their full uniforms. The firefighters reviewed fire safety procedures and gave the students valuable information on what to do if there’s a fire. The students proudly walked back to school wearing their fire helmets, a great souvenir from their visit to the fire station.

Infant Jesus of Prague School is very thankful to the Flossmoor Fire Department for taking the time to host our students for a fun and educational field trip!
